Consumer behaviour difference among young people (city and countryside).

Issues of material, cultural and relationship consuption in context of late modern society are being discussed in the thesis. Differences between the social context of city and rural areas are used to describe social functions of consumption. At first consumption is defined in sociological terms using the literature. Thesis contains basic theoretical approaches dealing with consumption. Major interest is being put on analytical part of thesis, which shows findings of research. Research is divided into two parts. Qualitative part with data from semi-structured interviews, which are used to create concepts and hypothesis in order to test them in quantitative part with questionners. Research is a case study and findings and interpretations can not be generalized to whole population of young people. Data provide solid empirical conclusion and hypothesis though. My findings support idea of consuption as complex and ambivalent social phenomenon related to individualization process. Yet another social functions of consuption are revealed in thesis. Consuption as a device to define and redefine identity of individual. Normative aspect of consumption, which express itself in social groups norms. Environmentální a hospodářské efekty ekonomických nástrojů ochrany ŽP

Řešení projektu je rozděleno do čtyř hlavních částí (modulů). V prvním je provedena kategorizace nástrojů na ochranu životního prostředí a rešerše právních a jiných dokumentů mezinárodních organizací (ES, OECD), které se efektivností tržních nástrojů zabývají. Další část se soustřeďuje na domácnosti. Po teoretickém úvodu, kde jsou diskutovány přístupy k identifikaci faktorů, které ovlivňují spotřební chování domácností, jsou s pomocí ekonometrických metod odhadovány elasticity jednotlivých typů spotřebního zboží. Třetí část je zaměřena na kvantifikaci negativních externalit a je založena na metodice ExternE. Závěrečná čtvrtá část efektivnost tržních nástrojů poplatkového/daňového typu analyzuje z poněkud netradičního úhlu - z pohledu jejich administrativní náročnosti.

Environmentální a hospodářské efekty ekonomických nástrojů ochrany ŽP

Cílem projektu je analyzovat a vyhodnotit současný stav a využití ekonomických nástrojů ochrany životního prostředí v České republice. Řešení projektu se zaměří na tvorbu obecné metodiky hodnocení ex-post účinnosti a efektivnosti ekonomických nástrojů. V roce 2004 bylo řešení zaměřeno na koncepční otázky a problémy. Byla provedena analýza právních norem vztahujících se k předpokládanému chování ekonomických subjektů po aplikaci ekonomických nástrojů ochrany ŽP, kategorizace ekonomických nástrojů ochrany ŽP a tvorba obecného přístupu k metodice hodnocení jejich efektivnosti, ex-post analýza výdajů příjmových typů domácností ČR v letech 1993-2003, ex-post analýza spotřebitelských vzorců chování.
